Project Timeline and Scope
A 17.5 MW floating solar PV installation’s complete EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) includes design, supply, site erection, testing, commissioning, and evacuation system setup.
Shortly after commissioning, the Operational Acceptance Test (OAT) must be finished, and then there must be three years of thorough O&M support.
A comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC) for ten years that covers essential equipment.

Bid Procedure & Information
The tender is open from August 4 through August 19, 2025, with a closing time of 14:00 on the GAIL website, CPP/e Procure, GeMNIC, and GeM portal.

Selection and Eligibility Standards
To be eligible, bidders must exhibit prior experience:
Option A: 14 MW+ floating solar EPC finished in a single project, or something comparable (e.g., three 7 MW projects or two 8.75 MW projects).
Option B: The capacity to carry out at least one 2 MW floating solar project during the previous seven years, in addition to ground-mounted solar projects of a similar magnitude.

Requirements for financial capacity include:
• Over the previous three years, the average yearly turnover was ≥ ₹4.31 crore.
• Working capital and net value of at least ₹86 lakh, or offering a line of credit to cover any deficit
Bidders must also adhere to the Make in India buy local guidelines for Class I/II local suppliers and use the modules on the Approved Models & Manufacturers List.
