How to Bid for the ₹1.78 Crore Solar Tender

In Short : To design, supply, build, test, and commission an on-grid rooftop solar power plant at Dehradun Airport, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released a tender of ₹178.17 lakh (~₹1.78 crore). A two-year defect liability period is followed by an eight-year Annual Comprehensive Operation & Maintenance contract as part of this program, which was introduced on August 19, 2025.

Features of the Project and Timeline for Execution

Rooftop solar panels on several airport buildings are covered by the tender. Design and installation (DSITC) costs ₹155.25 lakh of the estimated ₹178.17 lakh, while the eight-year maintenance package costs ₹22.92 lakh. The project has a strict three-month deadline for completion, a ₹4.66 lakh earnest money deposit, and a tender cost of ₹1,180 (including GST).
