5N Plus and First Solar: A Strategic Supply Agreement
In Short : With the signing of a greatly increased supply agreement with First Solar Inc., 5N Plus Inc. will raise cadmium telluride (CdTe) deliveries by 33% in 2025–2026 and by another 25% in 2027–2028. The deal strengthens their long-standing partnership in the development of specialty semiconductor materials for thin-film solar modules by committing to the delivery of cadmium selenide (CdSe) beginning in 2026.
